Where are you located?
We are located at 839 East River Road in Anoka. We are near Mercy Hospital and Better Values Liquor Store, a.k.a. the pumpkin liquor store!
What are your hours?
We are open Monday-Saturday 10am-9pm and Sunday 11am-5pm.
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk-in anytime during business hours!
What do you currently have in stock?
You can find our most up-to-date inventory here(link to shop). Due to the current statewide supply shortage, our inventory may fluctuate while the market becomes more mature. Be sure to check back often for new arrivals and availability.
Are you adult-use recreational or medical?
We are a licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary and welcome anyone 21+ with a valid government-issued ID.
Do you accept medical cannabis cards?
While we are happy to serve customers with medical cards, we do not operate as a medical dispensary and cannot offer medical-only benefits such as tax-free purchases or patient- specific programs.
What does a municipal dispensary mean?
As a municipal dispensary, we are owned and operated by the City of Anoka. 100% of profits from the dispensary go directly back into the local community, supporting public services, infrastructure, and community-focused initiatives. The final dispensation of the funds is determined by the city council.
What do I need to bring to shop?
To shop at Anoka Cannabis Company, you will need to bring a valid government-issued ID for age-verification purposes. We are also a cash-only business, so bring some with you or use our on-site ATM if needed.
What are the purchase limits in Minnesota?
Under Minnesota’s adult-use cannabis laws, adults 21 and older may buy:
– Up to 2 ounces of cannabis flower,
– Up to 800 mg of edibles and drinks, &
– Up to 8 grams of concentrate
per transaction.
Can I shop if I am visiting from out of state?
Yes, we accept out-of-state identification for purchasing.
Why is cannabis more expensive in Minnesota?
Cannabis in Minnesota is priced higher due to a combination of factors, including strict state regulations, higher startup and compliance costs for licensed operators, required testing and quality standards, and a limited number of producers in a newly launched market. As the industry matures and more operators come online, prices are expected to become more competitive over time. All prices on our website include sales tax, so what you see is what you pay – no guessing game.
Do you offer discounts or loyalty programs?
Yes! You can join our loyalty program here. Be sure to add a phone number to your customer profile at check-in to connect your loyalty account. To stay up to date on discounts and other promotions, be sure to sign up for our email list.
Can I bring someone under 21 with me?
No one under 21 is allowed in our store, including children.
